Lush, Yes Style, this past week.

Hi everyone! I seem to be developing a habit of blogging near the end of the week haha. Anyways last Sunday I went with my sister in-law to Lush since she's been raving about it for some time now. I usually avoid that store since the smell was always too strong for me, but recently their items don't have a very strong perfume-like scent anymore! I didn't manage to take snaps of the items I bought...since I was too excited to use them and now they're sitting in my shower :X But here are the images from their website instead!

Godiva Solid Shampoo

I'm going on a trip at the end of June to L.A. and need as much luggage space and weight as possible for my check-in baggage. The saleslady suggested trying a solid shampoo since you get a lot of uses out of it and you can pack it into your carry-on as well! I need to try it for longer before I have an opinion !

Next I have some bath bombs that I purchased at whim...XD! I can tell you all of them smell really good though.
Dragon's Egg and Phoenix Rising are my favourite ones out of the 4, but if you don't rinse your tub out after using Phoenix Rising your tub can get purple stains on it! The colors really pretty though =P!

Mrs. Whippy and the Sakura Bath Bomb were just O.K., I prefer Mrs. Whippy more than the Sakura one...even though I thought it would be the other way around. The Sakura bath bomb didn't do very much and the smell was very faint, if you like simple baths with a hint of fragrance then I would say try it. My skin felt a lot smoother and softer when I used the Mrs. Whippy and the scent was relaxing, my only qualm is that Mrs. Whippy is one of the smaller bath bombs Lush carries.

The last item I bought while I was at Lush is the Karma bubble bar. It turns your bath into a nice smelling bubble bath. I split mine into 4 pieces so it would last a bit longer. I did enjoy using this alongside the bath bombs above though!

Overall I'm glad I tried out Lush but some of the stuff is so expensive XD I broke my bath bombs into a few pieces so that I wouldn't have to use the whole ball in one bath.

I also purchases some more items from YesStyle a few weeks ago but had them shipped to my house directly this time.
From left to right:
1) Lace-Up Perforated Flats
2) Card Holder - Color 1
3) Polka Dot Hooded Sleeveless Top

I only bought 3 things so all the stuff fit into a box the size of a shoebox. I opted for standard shipping so everything took 2 weeks to reach me, which isn't too bad considering it came from Hong Kong. The shoes are a bit bigger than I expected, luckily I have a pair of insoles I can put in them. They are pretty comfortable but do feel a little cheaply made.

That's all I have to share for this week! Thanks for visiting and commenting on my blogs everyone!
Hope you all have a great weekend.
Here's a picture of my dog lazing around on my bed, I wish I could just laze around like her all day.

This Past Week...

Eeep. I've been meaning to update but I haven't had much time lately to update let alone take any photos either =( My internet is still being retarded and frequently disconnects too...so I rarely spend as much time on the computer now.

Anyway I thought I would update about the past week including last weekend, Terri's birthday was on May 11th and our schedules wouldn't match up, she either had work, or I had somewhere to go :( Her and another friend of mine are actually celebrating their birthdays together this Saturday but I can't go, so Rin and I to went to Terri's house the past weekend instead to celebrate.
Rin made a delicious cake for Terri based on a Pokemon since one of Terri's favourite Pokemon's is Piplup.

Terri with a Piplup plushie and the cake
The inside of the cake is Red Velvet made to look purple with blue, pink and white icing :)!

Most of the day we just spent eating okonomiyaki, cake and just watching movies on the TV.

I also needed to pick up some items from Terri that she ordered for me through YesStyle.
Sana Soy Milk Whitening Cream - $18 CAD

Sana Soy Milk Whitening Very Moisture Toner - $20 CAD
I've been suffering from really dry, dull skin for the past few months so I wanted to try something that would help moisturize and brighten my skin. I've only been using both items for about a week now, but it is helping keep my face moisturized and a lot brighter looking! With the whitening cream a little goes a LONG way...I made the mistake of putting on my usual amount for other creams...and it took a long time for it to fully absorb. So far I like it and haven't broken out though =)

I also thought I would share my real hair color haha. Some of you might remember one of my past blog posts where I had a blonde wig on. Well I rarely take snaps in my normal hair since it's really dry and damaged right now, but Terri managed to take a snap of it on the weekend.
My current hair
Excuse the blob, I had a really derpy face. My hair's naturally black but the current color is a mixture of L'Oreal Feria - 45 Deep Bronzed Brown and left over Palty: 生キャラメルラテ (Nama Caramel Latte). I'm trying not to dye my hair anymore so excuse the gross state of it as I try to grow out all the color XD

New layout!

I finally changed how my blog looks >__< The last layout has been around since last summer I think...
Anyways one of the gyaru models I really like is Okarie // Rie Matsuoka so I decided to use some images of her from Google as a new image for my blog ^^;;

Let me know what you think.

Other than that I've just been hanging out with some friends and catching up with old friends :)
It's really nice to see old friends again and talk about how they're doing and what their plans are for summer.

My boyfriend also came over the last few days and we made Okonomiyaki, kind of like a Japanese pancake with cabbage. We chose to make Hiroshima style because there's a lot more food in it....and my boyfriend has the stomach of 10 people >__>;; XD;

Hiroshima style Okonomiyaki.

One completed Okonomiyaki just warming up on the grill, and noodles being grilled for a second Okonomiyaki.
I think Okonomiyak is really filling haha...I don't know how people can finish one whole piece. Having the noodles in the okonomiyaki made it even more filling, so my boyfriend had to finish the rest of mine as well.

These were our final results.. Flipping the okonomiyaki was so challenging!! I don't know how everyone in Japan does it, but mine always ends up spilling from the sides :(

Anyways I hope everyone's having a great week :)
